21st CIVIL ENGINEER SQUADRON

The 21st Civil Engineer Squadron, Bldg., 1324, manages and controls resources involving about $400 million in real property and 1,295 acres of land at Peterson Air Force Base.
The unit's primary mission is to prepare military personnel for worldwide mobility contingencies. In peacetime, they maintain, repair and construct essential facilities and utility infrastructure systems to include electrical power systems, water and natural gas distribution systems and base roads and pavements. Fire protection and prevention, environmental and family housing programs are also managed by the unit. The squadron also runs the base self-help center supporting "do-it-yourself" work for the office or military family housing.
The 21st CES also provides comprehensive technical engineering and environmental support including contract management and mobile quality assurance to 15 geographically separated units supporting wing missions worldwide.
HOUSING
All incoming people are required to check in with the housing referral office when in-processing. This office is located in Building 850, between the 21st Space Wing Headquarters building and the Contracting Office. We are open Monday thru Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and can be reached at:
