PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – (Left to right) Heather Donnithorne, wife of Lt. Col. Mark Donnithorne, 21st Civil Engineer Squadron commander, Chief Master Sgt. Richard Redman, 21st SW command chief, Col. Chris Crawford, 21st Space Wing commander, Sharon Hodges, Loan Locker lead volunteer, and Johnna Scobey, Airman’s Attic lead volunteer, cut a ceremonial ribbon April 12 opening the Airman’s Attic and Loan Locker’s new location in building 1525, across from the base chapel. The Loan Locker is open to PCSing service members and retirees of all ranks. Members can borrow items while waiting to leave Peterson or for their household goods to arrive. Airmen E-5 and below may pick up items at the Airmen’s Attic for free. Uniform items donated to the attic, however, are available for all ranks. Normal hours are 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the Airmen's Attic; 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday to Friday for the Loan Locker.
