Mr. Scott Deeds, 721st SFS plans and programs chief, distinguished himself by orchestrating unit-to-unit staff assistance visits with Buckley Air Force Base, Colo., resulting in zero cirtical write ups across seven security forces offices. Mr. Deeds, a physical security expert, manages a more than 3,500 visitor database with access to Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station. Being an installation expert on classified material management, Mr. Deeds provides guidance to eight Department of Defense agencies on open storage requirments. (U.S. Air Force photo)

Airman 1st Class Markesha Dorsey reads to preschoolers at the Peterson Child Development Center Feb. 8. In honor of Black History Month, members of Peterson’s African-American/Black History Committee are reading stories with African-American characters to children at the CDC throughout the month of February. Readers will be at the main CDC from 3 - 4 p.m. and at the CDC annex from 2:30-3:30 p.m., Feb. 15 and 22. To volunteer as a reader, call Tech. Sgt. Tracey King at 556-4723.
