PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. - More than 30 styles of frames are now available through late February at the Peterson Optometry Clinic. Peterson Air Force Base is one of 10 Air Force Bases participating in the test to determine which frames are most popular and could be added to an expanded selection. Laser scanning advances Team Pete’s capabilities

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – A scan from at Leica C10 High Definition Survey Instrument depicts space between static aircraft displays at the Peterson Air and Space Museum in 2015. For an entire site survey, the laser scanner is moved throughout the location to capture all the data points and can be seen on the intensity scan as small circles. After the billions of data points are collected and compiled into a point cloud, the data can be revisited virtually by technicians for more information without ever having to go back to the site location. PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Airmen from the 21st Civil Engineer Squadron execution support office receive training on GPS units Dec. 2, 2014 at the Civil Engineer Building. PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. - Special Agents from the 8th Field Investigations Squadron of the Air Force Office of Special Investigations do pushups Jan. 8, 2015 at the Peterson Air Force Base Fitness Center as they shout the names of the six Airmen killed recently in Afghanistan. The 8 FIS special agents completed a Hero Workout of the Day to honor their fallen comrades and to pay their respects. They also participated in a resiliency session to ensure each agent knows the resources available during stressful life situations as many of the agents knew the Airmen killed in the line of duty.
