Purple Heart
CAMP BUCCA, Iraq - Staff Sgt. Rory Sturm and Airman Kevin Perez Glazer were presented Purple Hearts at a ceremony here Nov. 14 for wounds received when their patrol Humvee was struck by an improvised explosive device Oct. 16. Both Airmen are deployed to the 586th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron Area Security Operations.

Comm chiefs meet
Chief Master Sgt. Bruce Collet, Air Force Comm-Computer Systems career field manager, discusses communications and computer issues Oct. 12 at the Leadership Development Center here.
"The chiefs meet semi-annually to review command training issues, retention, career development and other challenges and concerns pertaining to their respective commands," said Chief Master Sgt. Calvin Watson, Air Force Space Command Comm-Computers functional manager.
The Communications Training Advisory Group was hosted by Headquarters AFSPC and the U.S. Air Force Academy Oct. 10 to 12 at Peterson AFB. Brig. Gen. Bradley Butler, director, Logistics and Warfighting Integration, AFSPC, opened the CTAG with his vision of current and future communications personnel roles. Functional chiefs from all major commands also attended the conference.

(AFRC) - Senior Airman Chad Kleger, 302nd Civil Engineer Squadron pavements and cosntruction equipment apprentice, fastens down a sheet of roofing material at the Aloha Gardens construction site.
