PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Master Sgt. Dan Stellabotte, on behalf of the Pikes Peak Top 3, presents the April Sharp Warrior Award to Staff Sgt. Antoine Dozier, Headquarters Air Force Space Command logistics planning. Dozier's creativity helped him develop a logistics billing database, which saved the command $500,000 annually. He completed three credit hours towards his bachelor’s degree in transportation logistics management and a logistics course. Dozier also assisted in the Combined Federal Campaign and played a key role on the A4R intramural basketball team over-30 basketball championship. The Sharp Warrior Award is awarded each month in recognition of Team Peterson’s best. Richard Redman (right), 21st SW command chief, presented awards to Catherine Lovelady, 21st Mission Support Group, Category II Civilian of the quarter; Capt. Robert Wray, 21st Operations Group, Company Grade Officer of the quarter; Master Sgt. Lorinda McDaniel, 21st MSG, Senior NCO of the quarter; and Airman 1st Class Takiah Coleman, 21st Medical Group, Airman of the quarter. Winners not present included Tech. Sgt. PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Tech. Sgt. Glen Kirkham (center) was awarded the Team Peterson First Sergeants Council Diamond Sharp Airman. Kirkham is the National Security Space Institute mission support NCOIC. He is an active vice president for the multi-unit booster club and volunteers to brief first-term Airmen on his deployment experience as part of the First Term Airmen Center curriculum. He also coaches a youth soccer team and recently took over the base-wide World War II veterans outreach program. The Sharp Warrior Award is awarded each month in recognition of Team Petersons’ best. PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Tech. Sgt. Patricia Ridge, Headquarters Air Force Space Command Inspector General office, was selected by the Pikes Peak Top 3 for the Sharp Warrior Award for March. Ridge identified 16 discrepancies during compliance inspections and provided the guidance to correct these deficiencies. She also completed her initial IG certifications 110 days ahead of schedule and has completed her senior NCO Course 14. She is involved with the local community and with the Air Force Sergeants' Association. Ridge exemplifies the whole person concept and has demonstrated dedication and professionalism on and off duty which led to her selection as a sharp warrior. The Sharp Warrior Award is awarded each month in recognition of Team Petersons’ best. Tess Johnson, Family Child Care provider, won the 2012 FCC Provider of the Year award. Johnson takes care of six children, ages one through six, each of whom has some kind of special need. Johnson won the award for going above and beyond for her children, working with a variety of therapists who come to work with the kids, and providing care in the evenings and on weekends for family. Joshua Pallardy, Airman 1st Class Bridget Sargent and Senior Airman Candace Phillipo, from the Aragon Dining Facility, accept the People’s Choice Best Dessert award at the Glass Slipper Ball Jan. 26 at the DoubleTree hotel. The team entered a New York cheesecake tower with strawberry coulis, and a graham cracker slipper topped with vanilla icing and a blue glaze.
