PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colorado – The Peterson Diamond Sharp Council awarded its Diamond Sharp Award June 11 to Tech. Sgt. Jamie Grabowski, 544th Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group Cyber Surety NCOIC. Grabowski was instrumental in designing and assembling an inspector general planning room, delivering an impeccable workspace with ample communications capabilities. Additionally, she was entrusted to complete the unit’s modernization effort from legacy BlackBerry handheld devices to iPhones, ensuring a seamless transition while saving more than $3,000. She also completely revamped the group-wide configuration management program overseeing more than 100 weapon system components ensuring operational capability of a $1.5 billion enterprise. PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Master Sgt. Brian Beaty (left) 52nd Airlift Squadron acting first sergeant, and Capt. Aaron Bowens (right), 52nd AS maintenance officer, present the Diamond Sharp award to Senior Airman Isitolo Lautoa, 52nd AS aircraft hydrualics systems specialist, Feb. 11. Lautoa led a “Redball” response team, identifying and replacing a steering control valve ahead of a two-hour standard, which enabled a presidential support mission. Additionally, he rebuilt and replaced a worn hydraulic test stand hose, saving the Air Force $300,000 for a new aircraft support equipment. (U.S. Air Force photo by Robb Lingley)

Timothy Gatherum, 21st Operations Group; Company Grade Officer of the Year – 1st Lt. Amanda Rebhi, 7th Space Warning Squadron; Field Grade Officer of the Year – Maj. Mark Olson, 21st Medical Group; Category I Civilian of the Year – Ardesia Parr, 21st MDG; Category II Civilian of the Year – Michael Puleo – 21st MDG; Category I Supervisory Civilian of the Year – Irving Gonzalez, 21st Mission Support Group; Category II Supervisory Civilian of the Year – Stephen Mellin, 6th SWS; Honor Guard Airman of the Year – Senior Airman Ian Burleson, 21st Mission Support Group; Honor Guard Noncommissioned Officer of the Year – Staff Sgt. PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Members of the Pikes Peak Top 3 present the October 2014 Sharp Warrior Award to Tech. Sgt. Jaclyn Cravens, 721st Mission Support Group. Cravens leads a 20-member Wing Readiness Inspection Team for Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station, responsible for the planning, organization and evaluation of readiness factors. As the 721st MSG safety representative, she prepared the installation for a Wing evaluation, mentored unit monitors and led the mission support group to an “Excellent” rating. Additionally, she planned and organized all readiness scenarios for Exercise Vigilant Shield 2015. Cravens has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and proficiency in her duties, and professionalism on and off duty, leading to her selection as the Sharp Warrior. (U.S. Air Force photo)

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Staff Sgt. Krisinda McCoy, 21st Logistics Readiness Squadron NCOIC of Passenger Travel, received the Diamond Sharp Award from the Team Peterson First Sergeant Council Dec. 3. McCoy provided passenger movement support for various agencies including the 21st and 50th Space Wings, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, and NORAD/NORTHCOM, for 475 deployers as well as 220 personnel PCSing from the Peterson complex last quarter. McCoy briefs passengers on travel entitlements, flight itineraries, pet shipments, baggage allowances and monitors airline ticket reservations created by the Commercial Travel Office. Additionally, McCoy was an honor guard team leader and trainer, training 45 personnel over a four month span, and leading 29 color guard details, 12 flag folding ceremonies, and 10 military and veteran funerals. PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Master Sgt. Rebecca Alaniz, on behalf of the Pikes Peak Top 3, presents the February 2014 Sharp Warrior Award to Tech. Sgt. Jeremy Grant, U.S. Air Force Academy Band. Grant performed flawlessly as a soloist with the 49-member concert band at Festival of Winds which reached 500 potential USAFA and Air Force recruits. He also led a six-member administration section during an unprecedented personnel turnover. Additionally, Grant aided nine members in reviewing and updating their personnel records for the Enlisted Retention Boards, which resulted in his selection as February’s Sharp Warrior.
