    Colonel Matthew Cantore, 21st Operations Group commander, recently took time out his schedule to share a little about himself, his family and his priorities as a leader. He’s a native of Guilderland, New York. He and wife Laura, originally from Brandon, Manitoba, Canada, have been married for 17 years. They have three children, ages 14, 12 and 7.
  • Peterson small air terminal named best in Air Force

    The Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, passenger terminal was recently named the best small air terminal in the Air Force. Even though it’s classified as a small air terminal, it serves 47 units across the entire Front Range, processing thousands of troops and tons of cargo every year for Peterson AFB, Ft. Carson and Schriever AFB.
  • CBD use in the Air Force

    Colorado state law permits the sale, use and transfer of products containing cannabidiol under certain provisions. However, Airmen are only permitted to use the Food and Drug Administration-approved drug Epidiolex, which contains CBD, and only with a proper prescription. Airmen are prohibited from using all other CBD products.
