    Cavalier Air Force Station is the U.S. Air Force’s only CONUS-Isolated installation, located 15 miles from the Canadian border and 90 miles north of Grand Forks, North Dakota. For about eight months out of the year, the Spartans of Cavalier brace for the harsh North Dakota winters, where temperatures routinely hover around 0 degrees and dip as low as -40 degrees with 40+ mph winds.
