Create and deliver the right small business capability and solutions to the 21st Space Wing and mission partners while strengthening the relationship between small business, contracting and the acquisition community through education and understanding of Air Force Small Business programs.

Doing Business with Peterson Air Force Base

The Peterson AFB Small Business Office (SBO) has a 3-step process to guide you in gaining an understanding of the business opportunities available for your company.

STEP 1. (INDUSTRY BRIEF) Each month local DoD agencies have a Government to Business Outreach (Industry  Brief) where we brief all potential companies on the basics of the federal small business programs, our respective missions, and upcoming business opportunities.

STEP 2. (INFORMATION EXCHANGE) Attendees at the outreach event are sent an e-mail from the SBO to provide additional information and details for potential business matches before a meeting is scheduled with our office.

STEP 3. (DIRECT OPPORTUNITIES) This is a meeting held between the SBO and the small businesses AFTER they have attended the outreach event, reviewed the documents from the e-mail (STEP 2), and identified an opportunity they are interested in and would like to discuss further. This meeting can be face-to-face in the SBO or conducted telephonically.

Local Outreach Event

Our Monthly Government to Business Outreach event (Industry Brief) is held the 3rd Tuesday of each month, 0830-1200, at the Colorado Technical University (CTU) campus, 4435 N. Chestnut, right off I-25 and Garden of the Gods Rd.

You may sign up for the event on-line here.

This is a great opportunity to hear from all of the front-range small business offices at one time.
